It’s not just the external world that limits women’s careers—often, they create barriers in their own minds. This talk will focus on changing your mindset to join boards or open your company. Olga Adamkiewicz is an experienced manager who has led campaigns for companies such as Procter & Gamble, Hebe, and Apteki Zdrowie. With a background in psychology, she will share insights from research on women.

Graduate of the University of Economics (former Academy of Economics) in Wrocław, Department of National Economy (1995-2000) and University of Wrocław, Department of Law and Administration (1997-2002).
Consultant specializing in incorporation, floatation, including formation of start-ups. Successfully introduced economic entities to the Stock Exchange.
Areas of specialty: IT, e-commerce, energy, advertisement, marketing, brand strategies and construction.
Co-author of the success of the European Capital of Culture 2016 in Wrocław – since mid-2015 to March 2017 Communication and Marketing Agent.
On the 21st of December 2018 appointed the First Deputy Mayor of Wrocław, supervising the Department of City Developement and Strategy. In charge of urban planning and land use plan management , architecture, construction administration, city aestetics, monument preservation, economic developement, geodesy and land cadastre.

Philip has been working with startups for the last 20 years within the VC, technology transfer and business incubation industries. Previously, he was one of the founding members of HBD – an early-stage venture capital company in South Africa. He has accreditation as a mentor and business coach with Mentors and Business Coaches International (MBCI) and currently leads the OVHcloud Startup Program globally.

Joanna has been involved in the IT industry from the beginning of her career. She conducted communication and promotional activities for such brands as Amadeus, Alcatel-Lucent, HP, Microsoft Dynamics and Symantec. Previously responsible for ICT promotion within EU Commission working groups. Privately, she is a book author and passionate about climbing and 19th century literature. A collector of life’s truths, coffee flavours and unique moments with inspiring people.

Pitch your business idea to a panel of expert judges, investors and live audience. Each startup has 3 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for questions. This is your chance to share your vision, get feedback, and gain exposure for your startup!
The top 3 places will receive grants of a total of €180,000 to use in OVHcloud and 38 000 PLN. More prizes to be announced soon!

Aleksander Potocki
COO, Venture Capital AIP Seed
He serves as COO of the Venture Capital fund AIP Seed. He has extensive experience in strategy, operations, business development, sales and finance. He has supported the growth of fast-scaling startups such as Booksy and Tagvenue. He has worked at large corporations such as PwC and Medtronic, where he has always been involved in projects beyond the standard business framework, creating innovation and pushing the boundaries of possibilities. He has international experience in SaaS and Marketplace industries, as well as sectors such as biotech, medtech and healthtech.
